In the Fall of 2019, Stacey noticed a vacancy for a beautiful, historic storefront on Railroad Street in downtown New Milford and the vision for Skin and Tonic was born - combining the strengths of both sisters who bring their own unique experiences to the business. Stacey’s few regular clients happily came over to the new location, and that was all it took to show the sisters that they were onto something special. That said, running a new, small business is never without challenges, soon after opening they faced the shut down from the pandemic, then navigated the set back of an apartment fire in their building. All of the hard work and their complimentary skills have helped to navigate and grow the business which now has six treatment providers and operates seven days a week. Running this business together represents more than just a financial goal, it is how they are defining their legacy, facing fears together and healing within.
